Is there dementia with Multiple Sclerosis?

I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 7 years now. My memory is so bad that there are days in a row that I do not remember. I will go to take my medicine, open the box and pills are missing, but I don’t remember taking them. Is this symptom a form of dementia?
