I am really worried that I might have Multiple sclerosis. Its been in the back of my mind now since I found out about this disease on a televison programme and it really freaked me out. My dad has been going to the neorologist for a while now with strange symptoms not being able to move his hands properly and he gets migranes and flashing light alot. They did an MRI on his brain and found many lesions. They did various other tests and said that they could not confirm he has Ms, but he must watch out for different symptoms. I was worried for a while about him, then I started feeling tingling sensations in my hands and feet, I know how the mind can play tricks when your worried but i actually felt them, although I do get this from time to time anyway. (Throughout my whole life) I have had migranes but not very oftern like once every couple of years. I suffer very badly with sinus headaches also. I have had eye tests and O have gone slightly short sighted very quickly but they said my eyes looked healthy other then that. I wear contacts and glasses. I do get very tired sometimes and suffer from bouts of monthly depression. Quite recently I have been getting burning sensations in my arms and tingling sensations in my head. My mum says its normal to expierence twinges all over your body now and again, but im just so worried. I would like to have an mri scan to put my mind at rest but Im not sure if ive blown this all out of proportion because of my dad. Does Multiple Sclerosis run in the family? Let me know your thoughts. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thankyou everyone in advance!
