Multiple Sclerosis?

Hi. I was wondering if you can have MS and have it be too early to be detected on an MRI. I am having a TON of symptoms, my primary has pretty much resolved that it is most likely MS and has done more extensive neuro exams on me than the 2 neuro guys I’ve seen have done, who have both told me that while I have obvious physiological symptoms that are not "in my head," my MRI (while showing lesions in both sides of the occipital lobes indicative of de-myelination), they are not in my parietal lobes and therefore are not indicative of MS. The neurologists are trying to explain everything away with migraines, hyperventilation syndrome and medication side effects. While I can’t say these things are definitely not accurate, some symptoms I am having definitely cannot be explained away with these theories. So, that leaves me with the question of, can you have MS and it is too early to be detected by MRI?
Thanks
