Ok… I asked a question the other day in which only my legs and feet were getting numb and tingly. It usually "takes turns", one day my right leg (from knee down, front side) will be numb and tingly along with top of my foot and toes… and the next day it will be my left leg. NOW I am also getting these same symptoms in tops of my hands and part of my forearm. it is changing the functioning of my fingers. the last 2 nights i wake up and my left leg from knee down is completely numb. also woke up this morning with my left forefinger completely numb.
I am now also getting a strange "burning" sensation on my forehead above my right eye. also a weird tingly sensation on the area of my shoulders/neck (like the neckline of a shirt…) yesterday I had another weird tingly feeling for a while around my bra line…. I kept feeling it… I thought something was there. I have also had every so often a weird feeling on my scalp… similar to when you put your head under the shower… that tingly feeling. I also noticed that I was getting goosebumbs on one arm (not the other) yesterday…. it was the same arm that i was having the slight numbness and difficulty using my fingers.
Does this sound like an MS attack? I mean… it started out with my right foot…. now I am experiencing all of this… I mean… it’s not all at the same ime… it’s pretty intermittent… the numb tingly legs and feet are pretty much constant… just interchanging sides….
I have an appt for a neuro tomorrow morning. I just want to get some insight from possibly anyone who has MS and what they have experienced.
I went to the ER when it was just my right side and the doc told me that it probably wasn’t MS because with MS it starts with both feet and progresses upwards. I have heard the opposite to be true from a friend of mine with MS… but I do know that everyone experience symptoms differently.
